Easter is a wonderful time in the life of every Christian. We gather in church to celebrate new life, experience new beginnings and rejoice in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Easter brings hope, meaning and purpose to life.

The boys and girls at the Florida United Methodist Children’s Home have reason to celebrate new life. They are now in a safe and loving environment free from the harmful relationships and abusive situations. A new life begins when they step foot on one of our campuses.

The artwork for this card was drawn by Sara – a beautiful 15 year old young girl living in our Shannon Cottage. She selected Psalms 23:4 as her scripture verse. For her to know that even though she has gone through the deepest darkness, she should not fear, for God is still with her.

As you celebrate Easter with your loved ones, please remember the young people at the Children’s Home. Your special Easter gift of any amount will help us show these kids the love of Jesus Christ made real through His Church. Thank you for helping us to bring new life and hope to children, youth and families throughout Florida.
