SECURITY
Florida United Methodist Children’s Home Childcare Center offers the community a safe and secure environment for the children. All persons bringing or picking up their children must come through the front lobby, and use an individual code to access the interior door. The front office and entrance door is monitored by camera during hours of operation. A modern communication system provides a direct line with staff. For your safety, parents are asked to bring their child to his or her classroom and deliver directly to the teaching staff. Do not leave your child unattended in the lobby, parking lot or car.
VISITORS
All visitors must report to the director or lead teaching staff and sign the visitor’s log. Visitors must wear a badge to proceed past the lobby. Parents wishing to visit other than usual pick-up and drop-off are always welcome but also must sign the visitor’s log.
FIRE DRILLS
In As Much will hold monthly fire drills in all areas. Preschool teachers will direct their children to exit through fire exits. Teachers will discuss fire drills and procedures with children the first week of school and review throughout the year. All drills are to be taken seriously.
