MEDICATION

The center will administer prescription medications with a completed medication form.  Medications will be dispensed according to instructions on the label.  Medication forms are good for one week.  

Non-prescription topical medication will be administered only with written consent from parents. This medication must be in the original container and instructions for administering need to comply with the manufacturer's label. Please remember that if symptoms persist, your child may be excluded from the Center until she/he is feeling better.

Our staff includes a part-time Registered Nurse, who can be called upon in cases of emergency. All childcare staff are CPR and First Aide certified annually.  

The center maintains the names of the family physician, clinic, or hospital to be used in emergencies, accompanied by written parental authorization for emergency care.
